Windsor Pulmonary Fibrosis                                 Support Group

We are a group of people who have lung conditions which create fibrosis (scarring) in the lungs, and their carers.

The group was started in Windsor in September 2018, under the East Berkshire AIR Team. We have members from the surrounding area and of course, currently welcome partners, carers and persons from any area via online meetings.

A diagnosis of one of these conditions is challenging and you may have many questions. We hope that you will find the information on this site helpful. We also provide friendly support to each other whether you are newly diagnosed or have questions about a new challenge you have encountered. The chances are that someone in the group has had to cope with the same or similar issue – so just ask!

The group is supported by the local specialist medical professionals and we can signpost you to other services which offer help.

AT the moment, because of Covid, meetings are currently on the third Friday of each month on Zoom but we hope to return to face-to-face meetings when it is safe in the Scout Hut, Windsor.

This will be at the Scout Hut next to the Ambulance centre just off the roundabout.

Maidenhead Road, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 5EJ
